Exciting changes at Tom Hutton MTB!
Anybody who knows us will know that our real passion is being out there doing it. We love guiding, running trips and exploring but if we’re honest, we’ve never really enjoyed sitting behind a computer or running a business. It’s just not us.
For this reason, we have always been on the lookout for another way of doing things. A way that would sharpen up the business and admin side of the operation while giving us the freedom to focus on what we do best, guiding, exploring, entertaining and riding our bikes…
And we’ve finally found one!
So today we are super excited to announce that we are merging Tom Hutton MTB with MTB travel specialists, MTB Beds. Over the past 6 months, Rich (Owner and Founder at MTB Beds) and I have been discussing collaborative trips, ideas and opportunities for working together. A way for MTB Beds to expand their trip offering into the UK where Rich is now based after 8 years in Morzine! After several exploratory trips to Scotland and Wales, it became clear that we could actually do a lot more together and all the elements simply fell into place for both parties to achieve what we were looking for.
So what will change?
From the outside, things really will look much the same with Tom Hutton MTB continuing just as it is now with Steph and myself guiding, running trips and scouting more trips etc. But behind the scenes, with the expertise and resources of MTB Beds, we will be able to radically upgrade the whole booking experience and general customer care. Our clients will also have the opportunity to now book onto epic holidays all across Europe with a company we have 100% trust in (and we may even be able to join in on a few).
Once we’re fully up and running, we will start working on a whole raft of amazing new trip ideas right across the UK and possibly overseas too. And we really can’t wait to start sharing these. I also hope to extend my coaching offering and have some great innovative ideas I can’t wait to put into practice once we can start up again.
Meanwhile, we’d really like to thank everybody who’s helped us get this far – we are so grateful for your support and couldn’t have got anywhere without it. And again, we’d like to reiterate that we’re not going anywhere and if anything you’ll be seeing more of us not less in the future.
